Leadhub
Leadership circle’s New front door.
Leadership Circle helps organizations grow more conscious, effective leaders through data-driven assessments and coaching tools. While working there, I helped improve the user experience of their platforms - focusing on clarity, accessibility, and seamless navigation.
When you're working with high-level leaders across global organizations, a good user experience isn’t optional. Before LeadHub, users had to deal with multiple logins, scattered tools, and no central place to get oriented. I led the design of LeadHub to fix that - creating one cohesive, intuitive entry point for everything.
my role
I was the sole UX designer on this project, responsible for both UX and UI design. I partnered closely with Product Manager Angel Viveros on product strategy, user interviews, and planning. I led the creation of all user flows, architecture diagrams, and low-fidelity wireframes, shaping the structural foundation of the platform to support a smooth and scalable experience for all user types.
problem statement
People were getting lost. Practitioners were juggling multiple logins and bouncing between tools just to manage one project. Participants often missed important steps, forgot to complete important surveys, or couldn’t find their completed reports. Even internal teams struggled to see what needed attention. It was time for a front door that matched the premium experience Leadership Circle is known for.
Target Demographic
Leadership Circle practitioners, evaluators, participants, and internal employees
Objective
Pioneer single sign-on across all of Leadership Circle products
Surface timely tasks and simplify their completion
Enhance visibility into active projects
Streamline how participants take assessments and access reports
Deliver all of the above within a single, unified experience
Early Exploration and Iteration
We kicked off internal discussions using low-fidelity wireframes and user flows. Starting at this level allowed us to explore ideas freely, pivot quickly, and gather feedback from internal users without getting sidetracked by visual design or branding details. This approach saved valuable time and kept the focus on structure, flow, and functionality.
building the right tools for the right people
Through a flexible, role-based permissions system, we built a product that ensures each user sees only the content relevant to them - prioritizing clarity, ease of use, and simplicity.
We spoke with all types of users to build a tool that genuinely addressed their needs. Project managers in particular expressed having difficulties with their workflow - they needed a more efficient way to strategize their day. They expressed a need to quickly see which projects were nearing completion, identify clients who needed follow-up, access key performance metrics at a glance, and easily review client statuses. I’m proud of how we built the right tools to achieve these goals, reducing time spent on manual processes and giving users more time to focus on meaningful client relationships.
Marketing Content Manager
This was one of my favorite features in LeadHub - a dedicated space on the homepage where the marketing team can easily manage content. We produced an intuitive upload system and gallery that lets them upload, preview, and test articles before publishing. It’s a simple yet thoughtful way to surface timely, relevant content to the right users, with audience targeting based on role and language preferences. Built-in preview and QA tools help ensure every update looks great, functions smoothly, and stays on brand.
Built for Today, Designed to Scale
As part of internal training, I produced a series of role-based walkthrough videos tailored to each user type. This one highlights the project manager experience—the most feature-rich role in the platform, with built-in tools designed to streamline their daily workflow. Since this was our V1 release, the design was built with scalability in mind to support evolving needs over time.
general audience rollout
With such a major shift in workflow, we knew it was important to communicate the new entry point early and clearly. We began by displaying in-app banners within existing systems to let users know the change was coming. This was followed by targeted email communications and blog posts to reinforce the message and help users prepare - no surprises here!
launch introduction video
A short introductory video created to introduce LeadHub to a general audience showcasing the value it brings to users across Leadership Circle’s ecosystem.
Post V1 Launch Data Collection
After launching V1 of LeadHub, we made user feedback a priority. We built a feedback widget directly into the platform to gather comments - anonymously or with attribution based on comfortability - so users could share their unfiltered thoughts on this major update to the Leadership Circle ecosystem.
